Social workers are registered, regulated healthcare professionals who are trained in counseling techniques.
Counselors can offer help for a variety of reasons including challenges surrounding learning disabilities, mental health, and sleep issues, and more.
We are currently offering virtual appointments available for patients in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, and Manitoba.
For your first appointment, you should schedule about an hour of your time. Paperwork will be sent to you beforehand to give us information about your overall health and goals for the sessions.
After your social worker receives your paperwork, they will conduct a thorough history which includes questions about your goals and your general wellness.
Afterwards, you will have a discussion together about your goals and strategies moving forward.
